Samuel H. Baughman II is the sole proprietor of Lancaster Geology with over 30 years of experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and a Master of Science Degree in Applied Geosciences from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Mr. Baughman is a licensed professional geologist in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Mr. Baughman's experience includes USEPA Superfund site investigations, PADEP site characterizations, PENNDOT subsurface investigations for bridge and highway design, source determination and remediation for soil and groundwater contamination, mine permitting/investigations, and domestic/public source water determination. Mr. Baughman has also served as an expert witness on cases involving residential sinkhole damage, carbon monoxide poisoning, and groundwater contamination. Recently he has overseen investigations to identify and recommend corrective action involving horizontal drilling.
